A biomarker analysis system that identifies the condition of the body person by person, and builds specific paths and products on that data.
The TRL scale
We do not use clinical trial phase nomenclature, which would be inappropriate for devices, software and cosmetic products. The TRL 1–9 scale describes technological maturity, from a basic principle observed to a system proven in a real operational environment.

- The TRL 1–9 scale measures the technological maturity of a programme: the percentage marks its position along that scale, not its distance from market entry. Programme status updated August 2026.
The problem. Skin health and wellbeing products are formulated on population averages. An individual, however, does not have the parameters of the average: they have their own. Without an individual measurement, choosing a product stays an approximation, and its effect depends on how closely that person resembles the sample the product was built on.
The BioRegenis solution. A biomarker analysis system that identifies the condition of the body in a personalised way, person by person, and builds specific paths and products on that data. The architecture combines biosensor detection, microfluidic sample handling and transfer of biochemical parameters over IoT.
State of progress.
Translational research and biochip implementation — under way, 60%
IoT, transfer of biochemical parameters — under way, 50%
Biosensor prototyping — under way, 30%
Microfluidic prototyping — under way, 30%
Next milestone. A working biosensor prototype integrated with the microfluidic module, moving from proof of concept to component validation in the laboratory (TRL 4).
Expected applications. Individual analysis of skin biomarkers as the basis for personalised paths and products in dermocosmetics and preventive health. Further applications will be published once they reach a verifiable stage of development.
