From analysis to product
We are building a biotechnology path that starts from analysis and arrives at a product.
The sequence
The starting point is always computational analysis.
Diagnostics, molecule research, receptor pathway, ADME, toxicology, final product: in this sequence every step produces data that makes the next step less uncertain.
It is a chain, not a list of parallel activities. The value of each link depends on how solid the one before it is.
Transparency on progress
Nobody following us has to wait for a press release to know where we are.
The state of every programme is public, updated by our team and dated. It does not pass through a press office, and the programmes that move slowly are visible too.
Transparency is not a gesture of openness: it is the simplest way to be judged on something verifiable. A portfolio where everything advances at the same pace does not exist, and a page implying otherwise would be less useful than this one.
For the same reason every entry carries the date of its last update. A date that has not moved in a year says something, and it should be said.
What we do not publish
Transparency covers results and state of progress, not protected technical content. We do not publish patent claims that have not yet been filed, device architectures, proprietary algorithms, formulations, process parameters or biomarker combinations that have not yet been disclosed.
A programme appears on this site once its intellectual property position is protected. That is why some active programmes are not listed yet.
How we operate
Rigour in the stages
No shortcuts on protocols. A stage passed quickly but badly is a problem that comes back later, and costs more.
Clarity of language
We describe what we are studying, not what we hope to obtain. The two only resemble each other on the surface, and confusing them is the fastest way to lose credibility with people who know the field.
Appropriate scales
We do not use clinical trial phase nomenclature for programmes that are not medicines, and we always distinguish a working hypothesis from a demonstrated result.
