Innovation starts from data

Biotechnological innovation is the centre of BioRegenis' activity, and it starts from data.

The method

We assess molecules, combinations and plausible mechanisms of action before a formula or a prototype exists.

Innovation costs time and money, and most of both is consumed by mistakes in the early stages. The technologies available today make a good share of them avoidable, provided they are used before the candidate is chosen rather than after.

The path

Every programme goes through the same sequence, with defined exit criteria at each stage: selection and screening of molecules and their combinations, identification of the target and the hypothesised receptor pathway, predictive assessment of ADME and toxicology before experimental commitment, ex vivo verification and — where relevant — in vivo, development of the final form within the applicable regulatory framework.

New molecular combinations. Several new molecule combinations with promising developments in dermocosmetics are currently under research. Consistent with what the Mission page states, we publish a programme only after the corresponding patent application has been filed. Other programmes in this line are under way and will be published on the same condition.

PT-LB, peptide complex for collagen synthesis. Working hypothesis: stimulate signalling at the dermal-epidermal junction to increase collagen production. Patent application filed and under examination, prototyping and ex vivo testing completed, product development at an advanced stage, in vivo testing not yet started.
